I'll be doing a big post later on my new job. For now I'm putting a call out there:
This Sunday guardian852 and I will be taking a little (big) trip up to Green Bay to see a big (little) concert by Little (Big) Bad Voodoo Daddy. The concert is free, though some gas money would be appreciated, but because it's in the Oneida Casino you must be 21 to attend. We will be leaving at 5:00 from Guardian's house, or 3:45 from my house (to get to Guardian's). Want to dance? Come! Want to hear great music? Come! Want to get credit for Ballroom (I presume)? Talk to Darrah then come! They are absolutely amazing in concert, there are sure to be some great dancers there, it's an awesome time to break out the vintage get up, and it's just going to be fucking awesome.

It's not a meme but I encourage all my dancing friends to post their own list. And put in a few rhythms of their own while they're at it.
So my new job. I'm up at 4:30 so I can be there by 6:00 to open the restaurant and stay there until 2:00. I don't know what days I'll be working yet but those will be there hours, anyway. That leaves me with evenings free for aikido and Jumptown. Hopefully I'll be able to add Katori Shinto Ryu and another ballroom class to the list soon, but I'm side tracking. The people are generally nicer than at Cool Runnings. Tips are better to. I've made 60% tips in some instances. Work is harder but that's to be expected and my coworkers are, if not awesome, intelligent and I enjoy spending time with them. And they know their trade.
My boss is a bit of a hard ass. By which I mean is a huge hardass. This is not a problem. It makes the restaurant a place I'm proud to be a part of.
I don't want to be there forever, but I'm happy to be there for now.
