And Life Goes On

So much for endings. Beginnings are always more fun. True connoisseurs, however, are known to favor the stretch in between, since it's the hardest to do anything with.

That's about all that can be said for plots, which anyway are just one thing after another, a what and a what and a what.

Now try How and Why.

- Magaret Atwood, "Happy Endings."

Tonight I had the first whammie of graduating hit.

I don't like it.

Today I took my first shipment of stuff up to Madison. This is starting to get real.

I take that back. This started to get real when I gave a $400 deposit. Beginning to move in made things more real. Paying my first three months rent made this even more real.

When it rains, it pours.

Philly People

For everyone in Philadelphia at any point between December 22 and January 13:

I want to run some games. Maybe some pick ups, maybe a mini campaign. Maybe just a one-shot. But I want to run something. But what do you want to play?

Please respond with your preferences for the following:

1. How often do you want to play?

2. Do you want a mini- campaign, a series of pick ups, a continuation of a previous campaign, or just one or two one-shots?

3. What game do you want to play? Your options are as follows:

Shadow Chasers (D20 Modern set in the modern world and fighting monsters)
Masque of Red Death (D20 Modern set in the Victorian era and fighting monsters)
Agents of Psi (D20 Modern set in the modern world and using psionics for secret government missions)
d20 Modern action hero game
Mage: The Ascension
Hunter: The Reckoning
Legend of the Five Rings
Seventh Sea
Call of Cthulhu
Buffy the Vampire Slayer RPG

*If I run these I can do plot but someone else will have to handle rules.
