Dance

Late at night, without a purpose

It's 3:35 in the morning. No one else is online. I can't recall the last time that's happened. Oh sure there've been times when there was no one online I particularly wanted to talk to, but the last time there was no one? Not since summer.

I have to wait for my laundry to finish. Twenty minutes.

In the background The Cranberries play on. "Do you have to let it linger?"

I saw Tartuffe tonight. That's the college's current theatrical production for you non-Beloiters. The acting was decent and the set was superb (I wanted to waltz across it) but the writing was for shit. I mean it was shit. Like poop. Worst deus ex machina ending I've ever seen. Oh Rob, you fail yet again.

Hunter gets here tomorrow. That's undeniably exciting. And Anna just logged online. Yay!

The Offspring. "When we were young the future was so bright."

Still haven't started my oral interp work.

There's a pile of books by my desk. Three piles, actually. Due to lack of funds and the fact that I'm moving, I've decided to sell all the books I don't have a drive to keep. Due to my organization system this means they're all by my desk. Come take a look, see if there are any you want.

And now Grease. "Tell me more, tell me more." I've been wanting to watch that movie for awhile. Really I just want to see good rock'n'roll dancing and don't know where else to get it. Anyone know? Actually I really want to learn rock'n'roll but for now I can just jitterbug it. I'm trying to decide what I want to do when I go to Madison. Aikido obviously, but what else? I've been considering:

-Brazilian jiujitsu
-Capoeira
-West coast swing
-Flamenco
-Lindy hop
-Belly dance

Plus a job, working out, and some manner of social life. At least I won't be bored. I'll need this job fast, though. Lessons are cheap but not free.

Okay, that's enough rambling. Goodnight all.
