Today was my first job really bartending. Not a one hour stunt shift as part of a course, not pouring soda and seltzer and calling it a bar, actually bonafide bartending. I stood behind a counter, I served alcohol, I mised it with stuff, I gave recommendations, and I even cut someone off when he had too much. Between my catering pay and tips, I raked in $216 today for a ten hour shift.

So why don't I feel happier?
