Dance of the Day - Jam Circle

A jam circle is an event, usually impromptu, that happens most often at large swing dances. A group of people form a circle while music plays and one at a time couples take the center of the circle for twenty to thirty seconds and show off their best moves. Because these are usually big dances, dancers come from far and wide which means the level of skill is often truly excessive, and because its swing, best moves often inevitably mean crazy aerials.
